Painted in the lead-up to Alz’s first solo exhibition at The Lair (curated by Boston artist Adam O'Day), Welcome to the Jungle came together fast — but with intention. The 16 x 40-inch piece explores the magnetic, sometimes disorienting power of feminine vulnerability — the way it can pull you in, shake your balance, and leave you wondering who’s actually in control. It’s both playful and dangerous, like a slow smile hiding teeth.
